Yes I do believe in ALL of that! That's so so wonderful that you were able to meet like that. Maybe it's like penpals used to do...exchange letters for years and finally meet...except everythings so "instant" now that you can pack a lot of years into a shorter time!?? I loved this post and I haven't been able to read my blogs for a week or so. Loved it! A lot! xoxo Nancy

What a special day with a new special friend. I think that's wonderful.

But you know, God is never too busy to be forget about us mere mortals. We are His children; and the bible says that He's concerned about every little hair on our heads. So, I firmly believe that he brought you two together! EVERY blessing comes from Him -- and it sure sounds like you guys are blessings to each other.

what a lovely experience!!! looks like you guys gave & got such wonderful gifts!!! happy pink saturday!!!

Hello, Happy PS! How wonderful to be able to meet, and it looks like you both had a fabulous visit :) Thanks for sharing this lovely day with all of us. Have a great weekend, warmest, Brenda

I'm so thrilled you two got together for this wonderful visit. Special, indeed.

Oh, Dana...when Our Father in Heaven sees EVERY single sparrow that falls...HE has plenty of time to arrange things in our lives. I truly believe that!! It has happened too many times in MY life!!
HE wanted you two of HIS children to meet and become fast friends. And, I am so glad that HE did. We can NEVER have too many friends.
hugs, bj

Aren't blogging friends the best??? I loved reading this, Dana, and I'm so glad you two met. I hope some day that I can get to meet you, too! And as to God... I think that the Lord is so huge He has time for every single thing we do. The Good Book says, He numbers the very hairs of our heads, so I think He is concerned about every nook and cranny of our lives, every feeling, every friend, every stone rabbit!

Now some might disagree, but I also think He reads blogs and arranges a special nudge to leave a note, etc. And I think He was as excited as you were that you two had such a lovely time. He's like that. He's a good dad. And I probably worry Him silly with my chattering in His ear 24/7, but thankfully, He's patient, too (and maybe a little deaf... not completely deaf, but He probably has to practice selective hearing with me! LOL!

Happy Pink Saturday!

XO,

Sheila :-)

It must have been fun.I live so far away from any where Not very likly I could do that. Laura

I always loved this quote from a children's Bible song. "How do I know he loves me....because the Bible tells me so." For some reason Dana that popped into my head as I was reading your blog post today about meeting your blog friend and fate. What a sweet treat that was to meet Pat. So far, I haven't had that pleasure of meeting a blog friend who lives fairly close by....not even kinda close by. :) HPS....Love the bags.

Blogging friends are sooo special. Thanks for sharing this sweet post. I loved it...

Yes....the Bible tells me so...

Happy Pink Saturday, dear Dana. And, TSR, too.

This post makes me smile. I firmly believe that certain people come into our lives for very specific reasons, and I do think it is God's hand. I would call it part of our destiny.

Your two pink souls were destined to be friends at just this specific time.

How wonderful that you two got to meet in real. I love that! Have fun reading...

Oh Dana, I'm so happy you are meeting cyber friends... with today's hectic lifestyle it's a miracle to meet anyone offline, LOL!
Do you really stop and chat with strangers while you are out running errands? Not likely. In cyberspace we feel safe and can take friendships one step at a time... and I really think that's why so many wonderful friendships are formed. PLus, we can chat up a storm in the wee hours of the morning without neglecting our families! Can't sleep? Send your buddies email! HAHAHA!
I'm glad I found you. You make my Saturdays pretty with all that pink! B=)

Thanks, for the great post today....I had a wonderful time. What a beautiful weekend this has been. I worked all day Sat in the yard, went out of town today, busy weekend. Take care, talk to you soon.

Glad you got to meet up with a blogger friend. I have a stamp that says, "I love my computer cause all my friends live in there."
As for God being too busy, that would never happen--He's actively involved in His creation. The Bible says He upholds it by His power--if He didn't, it would collapse. As a matter of fact, we had to postpone our trip to Prague because I came down with Shingles (ugh!) Turns out that our return flights with British Air were canceled due to their strike, so it was a good thing (part of God's plan) that we didn't go! Check out my blog for deets and cards I've been making during my recuperation.
