Actually, I had hoped to have a bottle of BOULEVARD BREWERY'S special edition product. . . Chocolate Ale. . .to share with you on this special Valentine's Day Pink Saturday!
This was the second year that they produced this much sought after Valentine delight (in very limited quantities). I wasn't able to locate a bottle last year and this year. . .
NO LUCK AGAIN!!!
Here's one of the signs I saw when scanning the shelves in our grocery store. I had also looked in a couple of other locations. . . also no luck. I hear they "sell out" within minutes of putting the Chocolate Ale on the shelves!!
What a Valentine's Day Bummer. :(
THE STONE RABBIT knew I had really, REALLY wanted to snag a bottle of that special Valentine brew . . . he even put "feelers" out with his little yard ornament buddies, hoping one of them would locate one.
However, as the days went by and no Chocolate Ale was found, THE STONE RABBIT did the next best thing. . .
he surprised me with a bottle of Chocolate Raspberry Wine!!!
Holy Cow. . . that is one sweet bunny!!
Actually, as much as I thought I wanted that Chocolate Ale. . . I have to admit I probably wouldn't like it half as much as I do this brand of chocolate wine!!!
I am a lucky girl to have THE STONE RABBIT as my Valentine!!
Oh, and don't you just love my banner? I shared how I made it (HERE). . . using the wonderful graphics designed by my blogging buddy Nancy of MY CRAFTY LITTLE PAGE! She's a great Valentine, too!
And speaking of great Valentine's. . .that includes Beverly of HOW SWEET THE SOUND! She works hard every week to be sure our Pink Saturday fun keeps going strong!!
She will have a super long list of bloggers ready for you to visit this weekend...just head on over to her blog!
Happy PINK SATURDAY and Happy Valentine's Day, too. I promise I'll save some of that Chocolate Wine for you! :)
DANA
PS
I can't thank you all enough for the prayers and kind words for our daughter over the last few weeks. She is doing well, now, and we pray this continues to be the case.

HPS and Valentine's Day!
Well...I also love chocolate...I guess need a rabbit to bring me one of those bottles, huh?

The Boulevard Beer Company is a hometown company here in Kansas City. They are building on to their production line just to meet this demand. You can't get it anywhere right now!!!! Hope you enjoy the other Choc. you got to purchase.

Dana, I was a bit crazy looking at your Valentines posts, as in plural. Then I realized you posted your previous year's posts. HA! I loved looking at all of them. I don't remember all of them but each one is awesome. I mean it!
Beverly asked me to link you if you weren't linked but I was late getting my post finished. I had Quilt lessons this morning and errands galore. Thus, I am # 38. Darn! Anyway you are already linked. Beverly's computer is acting up. Her son is going to check it out.
I want some of the Raspberry chocolate wine. Mmmmmm. Your post is so cute and the Stone Rabbit has outdone himself. I love the banner too. Very pretty and festive. Your new header is awesome. I think about changing mine and then I can't decide what to change. I 'am not' going to change it because I love this view off of our front deck so much.
I am so glad your daughter is doing better. I hope she continues to be well Dana.
Have a wonderful weekend and Valentine's Day on Tuesday.
Love you much,
Jeanne

Happy Pink Saturday Sweetie...
What a thoughtful bunny to give his sweet Momma some chocolate raspberry wine,
when the chocolate ale was not available. He didn't give up, he just gave you
the next best thing. What a sweet Valentine he is.
Love your banner that is so cute. Looks like you are all ready for
Valentine's Day at your house sweet friend. Have a glorious weekend.
Many hugs and much love, Sherry

I'll be right over. I need a big huge MUG of chocolate wine! I forgot about that banner! Wow - what a great job you did. I'm getting my big Valentine banner out tomorrow. You asked if I got any stuff at the sales and the answer is yes and it's all over everything in the living room. What a mess and I worked upstairs all day and I've only got tomorrow to get stuff ready for our Valentine party. You are coming aren't you??? I'll make a Valentine tag for you since I guess it's a wee bit too far.
Do you have three little Valentines for the weekend or just two. They are so much fun at that age. I love taking care of newborns and I'm glad mine were toddlers when I was younger because I don't know if I could keep up with the little ones at 64!
I got Kays book today and it is fabulous so maybe I'll work on that this weekend, too.
Have a wonderful evening. Love, Nancy

Your new banner is terrific - just like you! As far as learning PSE, it takes time - but is addicting. I suggest you check out the free lessons that Kim Klassen offers on occasion. www.kimklassencafe.com

Happy Valentine's Day Dana, We have some snow this morning. The real cold temps are gone though. Good thing because today is bowling day.
I imagine you had some fun with your sweet grands this past weekend. We are looking forward to our daughter and family coming to ski this Thursday. I can't wait to see two of our grands. They are 17 and 15 now. Young adults really.
Bob left for my cousin's home in So. Carolina yesterday. this is the first morning in five weeks that we woke up without company. It feels good but Cheri' is missing him very much. She has been staring at the back door all morning. Poor little thing, Bob played with her and her elder parents do not play that much. She does get lots of hugs and puppy love though.
Have a wonderful day. Have you worked on the journal yet? I am about to do mine. Fun times.
Love, Jeanne
