Recently, THE STONE RABBIT brought home a new little friend---The Little Pink Fairy!
Isn't she beautiful?
Not only is she a knock out---she has magical skills, as well !
Really!
If you need help with something, The Little Pink Fairy just waves her tiny little hands and "poof" the job is done!!
Like the other day- - - - - I was running behind and needed a little assistance with fixing breakfast. All I did was get out the oatmeal and a pan. The Little Pink Fairy just waived her little hand and a moment later- - - -
there it was-----a bowl of piping hot oatmeal, complete with a little sprinkling of Craisins---AND a spoon!!!
Then I asked her if she could zap up a batch of orange juice and- - - -
wah-lah!!!! The pitcher was FULL of juice---she even blinked an eye and it was thoroughly mixed!
I can tell that you folks reading this right now are starting to become just a teeeeeeeeny bit jealous, aren't you? :)
Breakfast was finished and the kitchen was in shambles! "Never fear", said The Little Pink Fairy and she lifted her dainty arms and - - - - -
in a flash the mess of dirty dishes and newspapers had vanished. Oh, my goodness, this little Pink Fairy is a keeper!!!!
She promptly hopped off the counter and in to the dishwasher which had amazingly already washed and DRYED all of the dishes she had just zapped into it. "Do you mind if I put the dishes away for you?", she asked.
MIND? I was thrilled beyond belief at the offer and gratefully told her to go right ahead-----and with that she promptly wiggled her fingers and - - - - -
NO MORE DISHES IN THE DISHWASHER!!! She's just totally Outstanding!
Poor little Twiggy was so lonely, noticed The Little Pink Fairy. She asked if I thought Twiggy would like to play----"Sure" I told her. That little Twiggy is so sweet and playful, I was certain it would be fun for her to have a new little pal.
And boy oh boy, did those two have a grand old time!!! They played Hide and Seek and Tag and Hopscotch. They even put together a 500 piece puzzle I had received as a Christmas gift.
When The Little Pink Fairy was through playing with Twiggy, I asked her if she would finish getting the shower invitations folded and put into envelopes for me.. . . . . I needed to get them in the mail!
Oh, she loved the idea of someone having a wedding shower, so she quickly clapped her hands and - - - - -
there they were: stuffed, stamped and sealed---all ready to be mailed!
The Little Pink Fairy is so observant! She noticed Frankie was staring at his empty food dish. She asked if she could feed the poor bony cat. "Please!" I answered! (OOOOOOH, I was really growing to like this little gal!)
With just the daintiest flick of her right wrist, Frankie had a plate full of nibbles---he was so thankful!!!!
Oh, I told her I had another little kitty chore that she could help with if she wanted. I led her to the room where we keep the dreaded Litter Box. Yep, I told her, it was in need of a "change".
That sweet Little Pink Fairy just hopped on top of that "keeper of the litter" and - - - -
TOTALLY amazed the felines when she blinked her eyes and the old litter was tied up in a bag and the clean litter was in the box--ready for little kitties to enjoy themselves!
I told her I had a really big request. She had been so wonderful to help me out with so many jobs and messes---and she did it all so effortlessly. I was just wondering if she could help ME get all gorgeous for my - - - - - -
exercise class!!
"Sure!" she eagerly said. And with that she wildly waved her arms and wiggled her fingers and blinked her eyes.
Then she leaned back and studied the results.
Hmmmmmmm-------she told me she didn't understand what went wrong. I told her that she did her best with what she had to work with.
No wonder THE STONE RABBIT was so nuts about her. She's pretty and sweet and magical and- - - - - - -
she's teaching him how to dance!!!! THE STONE RABBIT has been grinning for days!
He wants to auditon for "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE". I don't know if he'll be ready by the time the next competition rolls around, but I think he's having one swell time with his dance teacher!!!
You'll have one swell time, too, when you go to Beverly's at HOW SWEET THE SOUND, and check out all of the folks who have lots of PINKS to share this week!!!
DANA
Would the Little Pink Fairy mind coming to my house in sunny California? I have some children who need some help with their rooms!
LOVE the headband! Have a fabulous weekend!

Hi Dana bandana, still trying to remember the enunciation of your name. smile. I don't want to make a mistake when we meet in May. Smiling!! I find myself saying Daaana often. LOL.
I love your magical fairy. She is truly a wonder. Be careful, someone might want her too. Like everyone who reads this post today. Like me!! LOL.
I just got off the phone talking to Beverly. There are 150 Pinkies today. She had to add 12 more that didn't get to her on time. I don't think these people realize what a huge job it is to keep that list straight. Such is life. This Pinkie thing is growing beyond belief. LOL. I could not keep up with it. It is all I can do to visit as many Pinkies as I can each week. I never finish the whole list. I do start at the bottom to get to the new Pinkies sometimes.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs...Jeanne

Hi Dana
This was a fun post! You have been so lucky today to have that Little Pink Fairy helping you out. Now that your work is done can you please direct her over to my place? I sure could find some fun duties for her to do too..*s*..
Tell Twiggy he can come and play with my Abby and the StoneRabbit can visit with my rabbit too...on that note, while The Little Pink Fairy frees me up you could come over and we'll have tea and goodies.
I hope you've had a great dat today...
Happy Pink Saturday for the rest of it.

I never realized what a Ladies' Man that Stone Rabbit was, but you can tell by his broad smile and twinkle in his eye that he REALLY enjoys his women!
Betty in Oklahoma
PS: Has he ever checked to see if he can SEE HIS SHADOW on Ground Hog Day? That would be something for him to try... this year or later.

Hi. You certainly made my day with your lovely comments on my blog. My blog with the tabs at the top is a WordPress blog. I wanted three columns and couldn't figure out how to make my Blogger blogs into three columns. I wanted to start a blog on TypePad, but they charged for it. Then I discovered WordPress which was free like Blogger. Just recently I finally learned how to turn my blogger blogs into three columns. I still like the WordPress one better mainly because of the tabs at the top.
And I wouldn't take for my Mac computer. I was a little hesitant to make the change, but I'm sure glad I did. It is a lot different from the PC but I was kinda looking forward to the challenge of learning something new. Everybody I knew that had a Mac recommended it so we decided to give it a try. We still have the PC. It's Hubby's computer now. It's nice not to have to share. I do feel a little bad though because mine is so much better and faster. He does use mine occasionally. He likes to tease me about me having a better computer, but it was his idea to get it for me. Isn't he a sweetie?
