A sweet park bench or two? Yes.
Do you see cars? Yep. I see cars, too.
Do you see wet sidewalks? YES. . .I see them.
Those sidewalks were wet. Very, very wet.
WHY?
Because it was RAINING!!!
Rain, rain, rain.
On Thursday evening, I was setting up for my fourth sale in five weeks in THIS!!!
RAIN!!!!
Oh, and it wasn't only wet, it was COLD!
My buddy Patty, had come along to help me unload my stuff.
Setting up a sale requires LOTS of stuff on which to display the stuff you want to sell!
It's not fun unloading this STUFF in a downpour. . . especially when it's COLD!
It's a good thing THE STONE RABBIT keeps me in line. I'd been so busy all week getting ready for this sale that my elder brain nearly FORGOT that I was going to have THE drawing for my 200th post giveaway.
So along with all of the STUFF I had crammed into my vehicle for the sale, he made certain I had THE PINK sparkly hat and ALL of the comments that were entered into the drawing of the coveted PRIZES honoring my blogging Milestone!!
NOTE: Just in case you have forgotten, the coveted prizes for my 200th Post Giveaway were that PINK sparkly hat and a wonderful PINK ice cream cone ornament!!! OMG. . . I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about those terrific prizes!!!
Even though they were tired and cold and damp, they grinned for the camera.
Patty held the hat filled with comment entries and Bonnie pulled one out. . . .

Good morning Dana. I hope it is a GOOD morning without rain. You poor things. The BIG question is...Did you sell lots of your stuff. Sometimes the rain brings people out to shop.
Sigh, I didn't win. At least someone named 'Jean" did win. Congrats to Jean, I know she will love the sweet hat and ornament.
Today I am just going to chill. My cousin and her hubby arrived last night and we will have a great visit. They are staying in the cabin. No coffee buddy this morning. SHE SLEEPS LATE!!! How does she do that? BIG smile.

Having two sisters who do these shows in the Midwest, I've heard many times how miserable it is to set up in the rain. I sure hope all your hard work and effort will be rewarded with good sales.

PS I remember those days of setting up for craft shows. I gave that all up for selling on line. I think my husband is happy as he was the one to carry most of it.

Congratulations to Jean! We have had quite a bit of that rain and cold around here and I know it would be miserable trying to unload all of your stuff in it. I'll post Monday about it but Lexi was in a softball tournament Saturday. On Friday night it had been rained out and it didn't rain but was in the 50's all day with the wind blowing....BRRRR

Well, RATS! I wanted that pink hat to wear while shopping in the big city of Raymore, but pink really isn't my color, so I'm sure Jean will look much prettier in it than I would. Wear it with Pride, Jean.

OH MY GOSH! My MOTHER won your giveaway????? WOW! That is great! Oh, I am definitely going to "borrow" her new sparkly hat when I am down there visiting her...we'll have to take it on the boardwalk and get some great pictures the next time I visit. (Not sure when yet)

We set up this afternoon in a pouring rain, too! It was here in SC and it also was only 60 degrees-ha! But now I don't have to set it all up in the morning, it will be ready. Tonight's traffic was slow at the show, hoping tomorrow is better. Your site is FUN! Kerrie
