THE STONE RABBIT and I are gathering some of the items we're gonna need on The Fourth! We have the awesome umbrella Bonnie gave to me. . .so I can watch the parade without getting a sunburn!! I also found some sparklers and punks I got FREE last year with a coupon.
Finally, I'm pulling out my stash of flags to decorate around the house and to wave in honor of this important day!
I wish all of you a great day of celebrating with friends and family. . . enjoying fun stuff like parades and picnics and fireworks displays. . . but we must also remember what the day truly means to us as citizens of the greatest country on earth.
If it hadn't been for our brave forefathers, who gave everything to fight for our independence . . . we'd not be having such a day to celebrate. We certainly must honor them along with our past and present military personnel who have continued to serve and protect our country and our precious liberties.
Have a great Independence Day.
Thanks continue to be given to Beverly of HOW SWEET THE SOUND. . .because without her, we would not have this wonderful Pink Saturday event where we gather weekly to celebrate PINKS. . .and special times. . . like Independence Day!
DANA
I love red white and blue
In fact we are going to see the" Tops in Blue "to night.
I also like shabby chic can not make up my mind.
I think I do better with RWB decorating

Hi Dana, Your message is very meaningful. The sparkler is quite exciting for the Stone Rabbit. I hope you and your family have a wonderful 4th of July. We do not have much planned this year. Since the Hartmanns left a day early we are happily being very hopeful for a quiet week.
I posted real late today because I took a long nap this afternoon. It felt great. Now I have to do my journal. Tomorrow I will get it done so I can mail it to Beverly on time. I love the pages you did for mine. Thank you so much for making them so special. The journal challenges are so much fun. I am looking forward to November when we get them back. Not that I am rushing my life away. HA!
Have a wonderful week,
Love, Jeanne

Happy 4th. I'm super excited to celebrate the importance of this day with friends and family. I'm hoping to be enjoying good food, songs, parades and seeing the smiles of my children's faces. Thank you for reminding all of us the importance of this day.
