Hi darling, love, love, love the new header...makes me want to change mine from the header to the name.. What an incredible post.. what fun this must have been. Hope you're enjoying these great fall days. hugs ~lynne~

That Stone Rabbit is such an inspiration! Love all the special touches in LaVerne's book. She's going to love the burlap and the words are so perfect. She's got things from her mother incorporated into the book...now you, too so I need to do the same! Who made the "sea calling" tag that I see peeking out - that is so clever. Our books have been my most favorite project I've ever done. Each one I see makes me wish it was mine!

It's raining here. Yea!!! It does mean however I'll be sitting in the rain at the game tonight - I just need to remember my vow to never complain about the rain as we need it soooo badly. And it's cool! Last Friday night was sooo hot - 101 when the game started and never felt much cooler! I'd rather get wet! !!!! - I'm just full of "!!!!'s" today! xoxo Nancy!!!!

Hi Dana, I am so in love with the mermaid idea for LaVerne's journal. Your beach dream worked out very pretty. Yes, there is a pinky color...you are safe for Pink Saturday. HA!
Your photos are very artistically presented.

Would you believe I just finished Nancy's journal pages. I had to do them early because we are going to Raleigh next week and I wanted to take her book with me instead of mailing it to Beverly. I'll share them next week. There is no pink so I will share them for Blue Monday. I will spend a couple of days with Beverly and then go to our son's home for the rest of the week. The state competition will be going on that week for Senior Games. We will bowl in the bowling competition. We won medals locally in a couple of events. Lots of fun. Our county will have up to 100 people in attendance.

I am working on my Pink Sat post now so I better get it done.

Love you, Jeanne

Dana, your pages are gorgeous, but the whole journal is lovely. How talented you ladies are.
have a beautiful weekend ~

So many beautiful and artistic journals!! I have never had the courage to make one, but this post has inspired me!

Love the mermaid idea! Who isn't intrigued with mermaids?
HPS!

I love mermaids......the romance of the sea and the burlap edges remind of beach sand....perfect Your pages are fabulous Dana. If you want a little more sea come on over for a visit.. xoxo

How lovely! And what a fun project for all of you! And I must say, having lived near the beach and visited it often - I got a fun smile when I read of the "gorgeous" sea gulls. I would NEVER have thought that about them, myself. But now that I'm far away from all of them, I really miss them and think I have to agree. :) Bet my senior mom would too! Have a blessed and beautiful week!

Such a beautiful Gifts from the Sea Journal!

Oh how I love the sea... Happy Pink Saturday! I can't wait to see this journal when it arrives:)
Happy Pink Saturday!!

Hi Dana--Oh, what a beautiful job you did, and those are my favorite mermaid pictures!! I am so jealous, LaVerne will love that journal!! Happy Pink Saturday!! ~Lorraine ♥♥♥

This is my mermaid day! I've visited two blogs featuring mermaids now and the timing couldn't be better as I'm searching for ideas for my new granddaughter's nursery. My daughter has chosen the theme of mermaids! Your pages are just gorgeous and, being a California girl, I can say that you have captured the feeling of the sea perfectly! LaVerne is a lucky lady!

Those journals really ARE incredible. I bet each of you can't wait to have them back all completed, and as you thumb through the pages think of all the love that went into them.

Happy Pink Saturday, dear Dana. I agree that LaVerne's journal is a treasure, and she is going to love your layout. The pinks in seashells were one of my first favorite pinks.
