One weekend in October our son and his family and my husband and I made our annual journey to a local tree farm to "tag" (reserve) our Christmas trees!!
Last Friday, we returned to cut down our trees!
My DIL and son and grand kiddos have already decorated their tree. . . ours is still in a bucket of water waiting for me to do the same! That will be happening this week!
THE STONE RABBIT gets as giddy over Christmas as I do!! He was waiting for us to pull up with our Christmas Tree 2014. . .and he declared it to be yet another beauty!
Please visit Beverly's blog HOW SWEET THE SOUND for a long list of other bloggers ready to share their PINKS or SEASONALS with you this weekend!!

Happy Pink Saturday! I agree with the stone rabbit - the tree looks like a winner.

A good way to at least get the tree you want. I never did this when growing up or older. Always went to the woods, found one, cut and drag home.

Hi Dana, This is the third time I have come to your post to comment. So many distractions this morning.
I think your tree tradition is awesome. It is large and will look beautiful when decorated. It looks beautiful now. We used to get our tree from a local tree farm and it was a grand time. However, we have caved in to buying a pre-lit tree and like it very much. It looks very real but cost a lot of money. It better last a long time. HA!
I only have my bedroom done and changed the dishes on the hutch. We are working to get it all done this weekend. A tall order. At least cookie day is done.
Have a great weekend and fun with decorating.
Love, Jeanne
